Alphoretta O'Daniel, age 90, of Louisa, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at her home. Alphoretta was born July 5, 1925 in Johnson County KY. She is the daughter of the late Marvin and the late Shirley (Music) Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian O'Daniel and one son; Richard O'Daniel. She was a Homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by three daughters: Frances Hobbs and husband Grover of Louisa, KY, Shirley Roark and husband Jimmy of Baxter, TN and Edna Holbrook and husband Danny of Louisa. Also surviving are three sons: Thomas O'Daniel and wife Jenny of Gray Court, SC, Michael O'Daniel and wife Wanda of Pikeville, KY, Paul O'Daniel and wife Jennifer of Olive Hill, KY; Also Mrs.O'Daniel leaves behind a daughter in law,Suzanne O'Daniel of Byron, GA; 2 brothers Marvin Williams Jr. and Bob Williams and 1 sister Kathy Burchett; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Lockard officiating. Burial will follow in the O'Daniel Family Cemetery.
